At Medicurity, we help the elderly and disabled meet Medicaid income, resource, and technical eligibility
requirements in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. After explaining all of your legal options, we design,
implement, and manage a strategic plan specific to the client's unique situation.  We help you gather
the same information required by the Medicaid office, analyze the healthcare, legal, and financial
matters of your case, and make a formal recommendation and outline a clear plan for restructuring
assets, preserving them from nursing home and home care spenddown.  At the approrpriate date, we
complete the Medicaid application for you and submit it for guaranteed approval.  If you choose to
appoint us as your Authorized Representative, we will perform the following fiduciary services:

  • Assist family member (power of attorney, spouse, guardian) with gathering Medicaid
    documentation and verification.
  • Complete the Medicaid application and submit it to the local office.
  • Represent the client at the scheduled face-to-face interview with the county Medicaid caseworker
    and present the case and strategy for approval.
  • Follow up on any additional information the county or state agency may require and see the
    application through to approval.
  • Represent client at a Fair Hearing in situations of an administrative processing error.

How we are Compensated...

We charge a very reasonable fee, usually much less than other Medicaid planners or attorneys.  The
fee is an allowable expense that counts toward the clients' asset spenddown.
